Bet you thought you’d never hear from me again! Well, it’s a long story, but I’m back in California with Steve and Lynn Brazen. You may remember that I was planning on flying to Mexico for a vacation when I last wrote. Well, there was some big mix up on the border and they held me there for months! Finally, they sent me back to California where I plan to spend the summer, which is not a bad thing since there’s lots to see here. Last week I did something really fun and amazing. I joined the Brazens on a hike through the Calaveras Big Trees state park. Yikes are those giant sequoia redwoods ever huge! I’m sending a couple photos and when I fly back to IA, I’ll bring a brochure.
