Sam F.’s Ducky goes to Europe!

Kat gave me to her friend Christina, who brought me to Europe! This is the 3rd continent I have visited – I’m a very lucky duck!

My first stop – Milan, Italy!

I really loved seeing the Duomo! This is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the largest church in Italy! It is very famous and beautiful!

After seeing the Duomo, Christina brought me to get some lunch. What food do you think Italy makes best? The answer is all of it, but they are especially good at making pizza! I loved the pizza with prosciutto – it tastes like ham and bacon. It is so good! I also liked having gelato for dessert! That’s a special kind of ice cream made in Italy – it is very creamy and they serve it with tiny spoons!

The pizza was delicious!
The gelato had bits of cookies mixed in it!

I also enjoyed a nice cappuccino in a cute cafe. Italian culture is much more relaxed than in America so sitting down and drinking coffee slowly is very common here. Adults like to drink cappuccinos but I mainly liked the cookies that it comes with!

Yummy cookies!

Soon it was time to go to the train station in Milan. I really liked the outside of the station because it had a strange sculpture of an apple!

Next, we went inside and saw the trains. I loved seeing the different types of trains – some were very old and some were very new, but they all worked hard to bring the people where they needed to go!

Now I am on the train, heading to the airport to fly to another country!

Train travel is so much easier than flapping your wings!

Where will Ducky land?
